Rapid Design Sketch Review
Immediate analysis of concepts. We assess your existing floor plan and your top three concerns.

Send us your plans with your top three questions and we will send you a 15 minute video which shows us completing overlay in sketch form suggesting an alternative layout (Total Package Time: 2hrs)

Renovation Package
Expert renovator guidance. Together we explore options for your home renovation and test this against your budget

This is a 2-hour real-time workshop in your home. We will explore your options for renovation with regards to planning and budget restrictions. Having researched your property prior to meeting we will make valuable suggestions and produce a floor plan in sketch form which you can use to start your renovation journey. We'll produce an illustrated summary of the workshop including a planning report, design sketches of an annotated floor plan and referrals to necessary consultants (Total Package Time: 8 hrs).

Sustainable Home Package
We assess your existing home to prioritize change in order to improve comfort and sustainability.Â

We will then produce a set of recommendations which you can use which suggests options such as draft proofing, insulation, water re-use and alternative power supply options. Includes a 2-hour real-time consultation (Total Package Time: 6 hrs).

Existing Floor Plan Review
We optimize your layout for better flow and light.  We handle technical-depth so you build with ease.

This is a 2 hour-long real-time consultation. Having researched your property and planning context prior to meeting with you, we will work together with you to workshop a sketch that gives you a solid starting point to begin your design journey (Total Package Time: 5hrs).Â

New Build Package
We research your proposed site and then workshop with you to produce a detailed brief including sketch illustrations which give you a clear start on your journey to build your new home. We optimize your new build to capture ideal light and functional flow.

We will send you an online questionnaire prior to meeting with you. We will look at your site. We will then meet with you to go through your answers to the questionnaire (2 hours real-time). After meeting we will produce a Brief and a sketch illustration which will provide you with a clear starting point for your design journey. The Brief report and annotated sketch are yours to keep. (Total Package Time: 14hrs).

Pre Purchase Design Package
We assess the existing layout of the house that you are considering with regard to design potential. We help you to anticipate design issues before you buy.Â

We will meet with you and provide real time collaboration to look at the design potential of the property and broad budget issues. We will then produce a Summary Report which examines your needs in relation to the opportunities presented by the property. We'll also look at potential improvements that can be done to enhance the strengths of the property (Total Package Time: 8hrs 30 minutes).

Dudley and Janis Levieux are professional architects, both registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP), and work together as partners at Levieux Architects.

The practice specialises in residential architecture and has completed approximately 100 new homes and more than 300 alterations and renovations. Their work has been featured twice on Top Billing, reflecting the quality and distinctive character of their residential designs.
Both Dudley and Janis are accomplished designers and experienced architectural practitioners, with extensive practical knowledge of the construction industry. Their hands-on experience enables them to develop thoughtful, buildable solutions that balance design quality, functionality and construction considerations.

Over the years, they have developed strong and lasting relationships with their clients. Many clients have returned to Levieux Architects for subsequent projects, a testament to the trust, personal service and professional expertise that underpin the practice
Building on this experience, Levieux Architects has introduced Architect on Call—an initiative designed to make professional architectural advice and design expertise more accessible to the residential market. Architect on Call provides clients with an opportunity to obtain professional guidance at the early stages of a project, before committing to a full architectural appointment.

The service is intended to bridge the gap between an initial idea or building need and the formal appointment required to take a project through the full architectural process. Clients can access experienced architectural advice to help clarify their requirements, explore possibilities, understand regulatory considerations and determine the appropriate way forward. Where a project progresses beyond this initial stage, the natural next step is a full architectural appointment and engagement through the appropriate stages of the design and construction process.
